Dear Lord God,
My Father, in Heaven,
Who watches over me
no matter how far I stray
from your precepts
no matter how far I wander
off the path that you have set before me
You are with me
the Holy Spirit
testifies to Your holy presence
within the very fabric of my being
my true being
housed within a shelter built of flesh and bones
but at home only when You dwell with me
around me
surrounding me
in every sense of understanding
in every molecule of matter
in the consciousness of thought and memory
and just knowing and being
I see what You give me the grace to see
I feel what I choose to do with free will
Your consolation has come to me
when I least expect it
and when I need it most
Your love surrounds every good thing that I do
Because You are the source and summit of all Goodness
There is no contentment, no peace among the waves
unless You are with me
and unless I freely give you my life
Only then does peace reign wide and free and beautifully
Only then does contentment sink into the fibers of my fleshly raiment
And saturate the inner me
The one who truly seeks to be satisfied
with unity in the family of my God
the Trinity
There, with You my God,
I find completeness and wholeness and comfort
and joy and inspiration and elation and calm
and happiness in the truest and most authentic way
Oh, my Heavenly Father
who has sought me throughout my life
who has loved me throughout my existence
who has sacrificed for me in the most profound way
I thank you!
I love you!!
I praise you!!!
